Build 4 Yourself, Inc. was founded by Christina Binney. Christina originally moved to the Ocala area in 1981 and designed and built her first home here in the late 80’s. Christina has personal experience in many facets of the homebuilding process from design & scheduling to framing, trim, flooring, insulating, wiring, plumbing and more. She has certainly seen major changes over the years in the “landscape” of the area but not until recently has skyrocketing property and building costs deflated the homeownership dreams of many local residents - some needing to build smaller, less elaborate homes than they had intended – for others home ownership has been pushed out of reach. Christina recognized this trend and based on the increasing appeal of “DIY” projects she theorized people would have an interest in contracting their own home to save money and have increased control over their homebuilding project.  She created Build 4 Yourself in 2005, a full-service, home-building consulting company to guide them.  Now Marion county residents can take control over their building projects and pay wholesale for their home.
